SPAGETTI WITH SPINICH & GARLIC
WHAT DO WE NEEED
- 500gr of spagetti
- 3 tablespoons butter or olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3-4 bundles of spinach ( just the leaves )
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Aditional double cream .
HOW TO PREPARE
- Add the pasta to a large pot of boiling salted water and cook until al dente. Drain the pasta. ( SAVE SOME OF THE PASTA WATER ) Set pasta aside. In the same pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add in the pasta and spinach and cook until spinach leaves are wilted. If the pasta starts to dry out, add in some of the reserved pasta water. Stir in some of your Parmesan cheese and toss until combined. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste.
- Your pasta IS READY TO SERVE. Garnish with additional Parmesan cheese and serve immediately. ( BEFORE YOU ADD THE PALMESAN YOU CAN ADD SOME CREAM IF YOU LIKE TO HAVE MORE CREAMY TASTE )
