Ginger Biscuits

 

 

Ingredients 

12 tbsp butter

16 tbsp of brown sugar

1 tbsp golden syrup

24 tbsp of self raising flour                                                                            

2 tsp of baking soda

1 egg bitten

2 tsp ground ginger sifted with the flour

 

Preparation 

In a large bowl mix the butter,sugar and syrup until smooth.

Add the beaten egg and mix well,add the flour and soda and mix again until mixture is crumbly ( not runny).

Pre- heat oven to 160c

Shape your biscuits at any shape you like,place them on a weel greased tray and make sure that there is a large space between them as they spread.

Bake for about 20-25 minutes.
