Cyprus Meat balls (Keftedes)

 

 Ingredients

1 kilo of pork mince meat

1 large onion shredded

1 tbsp dried mint

1/2 cup of chopped parsley

2 eggs

1/2 cup of bread crumb

Salt,pepper and cinnamon

Oil for deep fry,

Preparation

In a large bowl  mix all the ingredients together ( not the oil), mix with your hands.

Shape the meatballs round or oval shape (about 2 inches long, 1 1/2 inch width)

Heat the oil in a deep pan(oil to cover the meatballs),Fry the meatballs until brown (about 10 minutes ) Reaped with the rest of the meatballs.

You can serve the Keftedes with chips, yogurt and a nice salad.
